About the Promotion
Insurance fraud is a crime that we all pay for. It steals between $300 and $500 each year from our pockets as fraudsters drive up insurance rates and premiums. HELP STOP FRAUD by entering our 2011 Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud Awareness Promotion to qualify to win $500, and then take a moment to look around our website to learn how insurance fraud victimizes everyone.
The Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority (IFPA) is sponsoring this promotion to heighten consumer awareness of the issue. The IFPA is a Commonwealth authority charged with administering Pennsylvania's Insurance Fraud Prevention Trust Fund in support of insurance fraud prosecution and insurance fraud prevention programs. All costs of the Promotion are paid from IFPA funds budgeted for fraud prevention and public education. No taxpayer or Commonwealth funds are used by the IFPA.
